Through God’s grace, St. Ignatius, called Theophoros, is said to guide believers in dreams, offering wisdom in Christ. One Coptic tale says a girl in Cairo, Sarah, sought Ignatius’ intercession for her sick grandmother. In a dream, she felt Ignatius' guidance to trust Christ, waking calm, and her grandmother soon recovered. Copts seek Ignatius’ intercession to guide children, like a lantern through Christ’s light.
Some Orthodox tales share similar moments. One tale says a monk at Debre Damo sought Ignatius’ intercession, doubting his calling. In a dream, he felt guidance to stay faithful, and he remained, leading prayers with joy. These dreams, through God’s grace, are signs of Ignatius’ intercession, guiding hearts to courage and peace in Christ. For children, his intercession shows heaven’s nearness, guiding them to trust Christ’s presence. His intercession, through Christ’s light, inspires Coptic and Syrian youth to follow Christ with confidence.
