St. Athanasius didn’t just fight—he wrote books that changed the world for Jesus. When he was very young-maybe around 20-he wrote On the Incarnation, explaining how Jesus being God and Man saves us all. It was so good, people still read it today! Later, during his exiles, he hid with desert monks and wrote The Life of St. Anthony, telling everyone about his holy friend. That book made tons of people want to live simply for God, spreading monasteries everywhere.
In 367 AD, he sent a letter listing the 27 books of the New Testament—like Matthew, Mark, and John—making sure we’d know which ones were real. His words were like swords against lies, cutting through Arian nonsense. One story says he told people to write the truth on their clothes if they ran out of paper! That’s how much he wanted Jesus’ truth to spread! Athanasius wrote with a heart full of love, showing kids that using your brain for God can do big things.
