St. Athanasius' Living Presence

People believe St. Athanasius is still working miracles that show he’s alive and kicking today! In 2019, a story says a teen in New Jersey prayed at a church with his help, and her leukemia—cancer in her blood—just vanished, leaving doctors amazed. In Ethiopia, in 2023, one account says a farmer lost his cow, but Athanasius pointed the way in a dream, and he found it safe and sound! Even back in 1936, a story says that Bishop Yohannes asked for his prayers when enemies came, and a fog rolled in to hide the monks—talk about a superhero save!

These wonders aren’t old news—they’re happening today, from fixing sick kids to finding lost cows. Copts and Ethiopians say his relics and prayers make big things happen, like they did when he crashed a pagan temple with a prayer. For kids, it’s proof Athanasius is still out there, doing miracles to help us love Jesus more.
